PaxiPro Mobile App Privacy Policy

This Mobile App Privacy Policy explains what information PaxiPro ("PaxiPro", "we", "us") collects through the PaxiPro mobile app for Android (the "App" or "Service") — an educational app where you follow independent Mentors' trading courses and educational trade ideas — why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who signs in to the App.

It covers the App only.

If you don't agree with this policy, please don't use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

• Crash reports — if the mobile app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics (Google) receives a crash report: the error and where in the app it happened, the app version, device model and OS version, and an identifier for the app installation. We use it only to find and fix bugs. The app has no analytics or advertising SDK and does not track how you use it.
• Preferences on your device — your theme, the role you last used and whether you have seen the in-app guide are stored on your device only.
• Push notification tokens — used to deliver in-app notifications (new signals, approval status changes) via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• Authentication data — managed by Firebase Authentication (hashed credentials; we do not store your raw password).

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• create and secure your account, and verify your identity;

• show you Mentors and the content your account has access to;

• compute Mentor statistics (win rate, ratings, follower counts) from signal outcomes and reviews;

• send transactional notifications (new signal, approval/rejection, course updates) and, if you opt in, other notifications;
• detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms or Community Guidelines;
• comply with legal obligations; and
• improve and troubleshoot the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who Can See What

• Trading journal entries are visible to you and to the Mentors you follow, so they can review your trades and guide you. Other Clients cannot see them. PaxiPro's Super Admin may view them only for support, dispute, legal or security reasons.
• Course quiz results are visible only to you; they are self-assessment, not shared with the Mentor.
• Your display name is shown to a Mentor you follow (so they know who their followers are) and appears on any review you post. PaxiPro's Super Admin can also see it.
• Mentor profile fields (bio, photo, stats, socials, tags) are public by design — that's how Clients discover Mentors.

4. How We Share Information

• Service providers. We use Firebase/Google Cloud (Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, and related infrastructure) to run the Service. The App also uses Firebase Crashlytics for the crash reports in §1.2. Google processes data on our behalf under its own data processing terms.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PaxiPro, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers. If PaxiPro is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy.

We do not share your data with third-party advertisers.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and profile information for as long as your account is active. Records of which content your account has had access to are retained for the period required by law, even after account deletion, as described in the Account & Data Deletion Policy. Trading journal entries and other personal content are deleted when you delete them or close your account, subject to standard backup retention windows.

Fraud prevention. If an account is banned for fraud, we keep a one-way hashed form of its email address, device identifiers, and identity-document number, even after the account is deleted. We do not keep the identifiers themselves. We use these hashes only to recognise the same person registering again; a new account that matches is refused (same email) or reviewed by a person (same device or identity document).

6. Data Security

We rely on Firebase's security infrastructure (encryption in transit and at rest) and application-level access rules that restrict who can read or write each type of data — for example, journal entries are enforced server-side to be readable only by their owner or an authorized reviewer. No system is 100% secure; we can't guarantee absolute security of information you transmit to us.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Access & correction — most profile fields are editable in your account settings. Contact us for data we hold that isn't directly editable.
• Notification preferences — you can turn push notifications off in Account settings. Updates to your account, such as a change to your access, still appear in the App's notification list.

• Deletion — delete your account in the App: Account → Delete Account, enter your password and confirm; it is deleted straight away. If you no longer have the App, you can ask for deletion as set out in the Account & Data Deletion Policy, which also explains what is deleted and what we must keep.

• If you are located in a jurisdiction with statutory privacy rights (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA), you may also have rights to data portability, restriction of processing, or objection — contact us to exercise them; we will honor requests to the extent required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure provider (Firebase/Google Cloud) may process and store data in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in such countries, which may have different data protection laws than your own.

10. Third-Party Links and Embeds

The App embeds TradingView charts and shows market-news headlines from a third-party news service. Those third parties have their own privacy policies; this Privacy Policy does not cover their practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest revision.
